Today, I’m aware of the fact that life is better than I deserve, which is saying something these days.
The world is full of pain and suffering, hardship and turmoil, disappointment and regret. I am not lucky, fortunate or merely disciplined; I am expected to do something with the grace I’ve been given.
And so are you. Being grateful is a choice.
So I made a list…

In a time of business, chaos and for some, troubled waters at home and at work, authentic living is, I think, all we have to fall back on. Living according to your Core Self is the best reminder of authentically.

Advice For Kids
As my kids enter the teenage years and they start to carve out their own paths in the world I offer this advice. Really this advice can be applied to those of us well passed the teenager years.
My son loves Batman and only Batman. So while we were at the local comic book store getting him the newest issue, I asked him, “why only Batman? What about some of the other Super Heroes?” He looked at me like that was a no brainer question and answered: “because anyone can be Batman.” Without hesitation he went on to explain it this way. All the other Super heroes have special powers but Batman uses his brains, trains his body, has cool gadgets and helps to keep Gotham City safe. That’s a real Super Hero.”
Well I tell you my eyes welled up a bit, but I held it together. After all, he’s 12 and I already embarrass him enough anyway.
