    I’d add that if they are doing your taxes, don’t forget to ask for all of the workpapers. This would include any cost basis, depreciation, and AAA or capital account balances. I have seen this come up too many times. The bookkeeper changes and then after time isn’t responsive and won’t provide this info needed for the tax return.
